COncLUSION

In a nutshell, RUS 104: INTEGRATED STUDIO is the most challenging and tough subject that i ever had in my life. This is because this subject need a lot of drawing and a very creative mind in order to survive and sadly i do not own any of the skills required. However, as people always say that we must take our time to adapt to our surrounding and try to absorb all the knowledge that you can, and yes,  i think that i had learned so much during the time in RUS104 and i also can feel that i had the most valuable moment in my life. Beside that, I stongly believe that someday all the pain i get from this course, all the critical knowledge that i earned will become very useful especially during the time i had to start working.
Every time whenever i finished my assignment such as drawing portrait, doing some site analysis drawing, and all that kind of drawing such as perspective and isometric one. I have a very strong feeling that i really succeed in surviving this course and at some point i cannot believe it myself that i make it till today. Wow! I can feel my spirit is burning!
From this subject, I not only learnt the drawing skill but also the construction theory such as foundation, construction method, IBS and many other kind of stuff. Beside that, the most important thing that i have learnt is teamwork. For example, teamwork is very important for project 6. Without teamwork and proper arrangement task, this project will not complete in the limit duration.
Although i have faced many problems and feel hard and tough at the beginning. I learned that there is nothing in this world is easy to do. I remember my secondary techer say that, ' even eating nuts is hard you know! We had to open the nutshell and chew it before we can swallow it! Even swallowing is already difficult already you ungrateful boy!' Haha, what a very funny moment to remember. Back to topic, without hard effort there is nothing we can achieve in our life. Thanks to all the lecturers in HBP school for your guidance and advice throughout this sem. Thank you very much.

MY PROJECT 8 ( PERFORMANCE NIGHTT)

This was the very last project given to us the HBP students by our lectures. Even thought its not seem like a project, but it does. During this night we, the Construction Managent course student were given new name as The Lost Kingdom of Demak. The Lost Kingdom of Demak was a long prehistoric government that exist in Asia long time ago. But not very long as the dinasour age. Hahaha. Back to the business. During this night we do some acting and dancing, my role during this night was to hold the flag of our kingdom and i'm proud to do that. During our time to perform, i totally forgot what to as what we always practice so i just dance like a crazy person wearing a V for Vendetta Mask. I own the mask becausen i loved the mask. Yes. The mask is mine and i had two of them, i let my friend wear one. Haha. The reason why my friend and i wearing those Vendetta mask was just because we feel shame in front of people. To be honest, i never perform in front of may people and its was my first time. Feel really scary though. Haha. It was a really enjoyable night.

MY PROJECT 7 ( EXHIBITION DAY)

The pictures above shows our booth during the exhibition day, Construction Management Booth. During this event, all of the works done by the student were put together to be displayed to people. I personally as a construction management student was very proud of our group because eventhough all the work that been displayed were not nice and beautiful as the design group does such as architecture, planning and others but as the saying, 'no pain no gain' we have learned so much about the design aspect and we reserved the right to be proud of ourselves.

MY PROJECT 6

The above pictures were our project 6 called Integrated Studio (Construction Weeks). Among all of our assignment, this one was really tough as it involve of making the mini model for our amphiteathre. It took us six week to finish this project. The idea was to make an amphiteathre which environmentally friendly to nature. Thanks to our group smart and creative architecture students who invent this beautiful amphiteather we manage to get the third place in the competition for the mini amphiteather. For the earlier, the process was to estimate the cost needed for us to build this amphitheather and the cost needed for building the real one and this works belongs to the Quantity Surveying students as it is their expertise field. Later the contruction works begin. Since we had a very large number of group member all the work seems to be in chaos during the earlier moment. After being lead by our great group leader we manage to do the work nicely. To be honest with you, its really one hell job to do. Later on, two days before the submission date we manage to finish this project successfully. Thank god.

MY PROJECT 5A & 5B

The two pictures above were the last individual assignment which was given by our lecturers in HBP schools. In your eyes maybe this assignment look easy as it just only involve drawings and colorings and if you think like that you are tottaly wrong. This assignment was hard and i'm not saying its hard because of lack in drawing abilities or something like that but it is because in order for us to finished this assignment we have to do research by our own. Yes! By our own. To make the jobs easier, we have make groups to enable us haring information and any important raw data that will be needed during the drawing process later. The first picture was a housing plan or blueprints of a residential area. In order for us to get the blueprints, we have to go to the developer and ask themselves about the blueprints. As a human being, its become natural for us to have different kind of behaviour and some of it were good and some of it were not. So, what i'm trying to say here are some developer act nicely and some of them not. Luckily, my group and i got a very nice hearted person who incharge in the developer and we easily can discuss and ask question that we needed. While other groups have to face many kind of problems such as being expelled from the residential areas. Bad for them. Beside that, we have to know the direction of the sun and the wind speed in the residential area. Its really hard for all of us because we were new to these kind of stuff. After collecting all the data, we proceed to the drawing process and for the additional our lecturers told us to suggest any improvement that can be make on the residential area.

MY PROJECT 2

This is my second assignment which was given in HBP school. I'm kinda late posting this because i forgot to take the picture of my assignment before the submission date and i had the chance to take a photo of it when our assignment returned to us. So, about this assignment. This assignment main focus was to enhance the drawing skills of the student and again it was hard for me because of lack in drawing ability. Yet, i tried very hard in order to produce a very nice looking drawing of this small shack or what we called here as 'wakaf'. The basic structure were actually not really hard to draw and i'm not saying that i'm good at drawing but its the truth. This 'wakaf' structure did not possessed any modern plus sophisticated looking part but the part that gave me a lot of trouble during drawing process was the details of the roof structure. These includes the main support below the roof, the roof stacks and the wood joinery. Because we have to draw it in the small scale, its become harder compared to draw it in a larger scale (only for me the drawing was tough ^_^ ). After struggling so much drawing this wakaf, i'm finally made it. Oh my. What a nice feelings i had after the drawing finished. For the coloring process, i just colored it at will because i was really tired at that time but not physically tired but i was mentally tired. Thats all about this project 2.

MY PROJECT 4B

The above pictures were related to the project 4A that i post earlier. The first picture above were the drawings of the chair that we had build. There were plan elevation, left elevation, right elevation, back elevation and front elevation. The purpose of the drawings was to show the details and the view of the real size chair. While the second picture show the perspective drawing of the chair. The first drawing which was the elevation of the chair, it did not take much effort to draw it because it a little bit easier to draw but the second drawing was the hard one. That is because i did not really know how to draw the perspective view and again i asked for help from my ARCHITECTURES friends. So, my friends gave me some tips on how to draw the perspective and i manage to do it. It did not really tidy and pretty like other people drawings. But i am proud of myself because being able to do such kind of drawings.

MY PROJECT 4A

The two pictures above were my fourth assignment given in HBP school. Our lecturers had gave us a task which is to build a 'L' shape chair with a small table located in those 'L' shape chair. We were given into many groups to makeit easier for us to build the chair. Firstly my friends and i were all blurred out about what type of chair that we will build so i as the group leader ask my group members to do some research first to find out what kind of chair that will be the most suitable to be placed near the office located beside the 'drum' building. On the next day my group members came to me with many ideas and when i see them, there were various type of chair design starting from the traditional one untill the modern type. We cannot take decission on which one should we used so we decided to combine the traditional design with the modern one and so we come out with the design such as the two pictures above. During the process of building the chair, there were not much trouble occurs. But, the day before the submission date our chair began to collapse. The main problem occur at the end of the chair where the aluminium plates stick with the wooden plank. The glue that we used did not last long so we have to put more and more glue to ensure that the aluminium plates will not come off again. On the day of the submission date, our group were selected among the other groups to present about our chair. I was very happy as the group leader. But there was some unexpected things occur just before our presentation get started and yet it was the same problem we faced yesterday. The aluminium plates come off. Oh god. What a shame experienced that i had. All the lecturers were astounded as the aluminium plates make a loud sound when it come off from the joints we maded with the wooden plank. As i suspected. The glue that we used did not last longer. I was very surprised about why the aluminium plates came off again because i use an extremely strong superglue that i bought at a very expensive price and yet i came off. The lecturers said to us: " how come the client will buy your product if during your presentation about the product that you will sell to the client, your model were collapsed? What do you think the client will think about your product after seeing your model have a problems?" Wah. I cannot do anything besides keep agreeing with the lecturers. But nevermind, there were many important things that i had learned from that experienced and again. Thank you lecturers for always supporting us eventhough sometimes their comments a bit harsh but it always for the good of their own students.

MY PROJECT 3

This was my third project/ assignment in the HBP school. This weird shape sculpture was my sculpture that i designed by my own. I was inspired after saw the National Geographic channel a very long time ago where they design the yellow box( trademark of National Geographic) in such manners. So i took a decission to use my own first name which is letter 'g' to design my sculpture. Firstly i want to use wood as my material but i discovered that the price of Balsa wood were extremely expensive so i decided to use much cheaper material that is styrofoam. I bought the styrofoam at shop located in front of our hostel. During the process of making this sculpture i found out that the sculpture couldn't last longer just by using glues to stick the styrofoam. So i think for a sec about how am i gonna make the sculpture become strong and prevent it from collapsing after a period of time and finally i come out with a solution to insert a chopstick into the styrofoam sculpture to make it stronger. Finally i gave my sculpture final touch by coloring it with apple green color to representing the green environment. Fuhh! It was a lot of effort making that sculpture.

MY PROJECT 1A AND 1B

These two pictures were my first assignment given by our HBP school lecturers in RUS104 studio. For me being first time ever in my life to do such kind of drawing were extremely hard. I barely able to draw my own face. It is kind of funny though for me to remember my effort drawing my face in my room the day before submitting the assignment. Oh no.. Now my lecturers will know that i do my assignment at last minutes. But nevermine, its alreadry pass. Hahaha. it took me about two and a half hours just to draw my face and to be honest. I think i want to cheat at that time by asking my ARCHITECTURES friends to help me draw my face and i did ask them actually but only the rough sketches such as the line of my face and for the others i did them by my own. The above picture was my personal logo. I tried to draw something new but yet fascinating the lecturers but i met with a dead end. So i ask the 'Uncle Google' for helping me find something related to me for my logo and yes. 'Uncle Google' really give me a big help. I manage to find a shape of 'g' in such creative design and suddenly ideas flow in my mind. So i created a smile face but there's a letter 'g' hidden inside the smiley face. I think it will attract the attention of the lecturers during the submission but it didn't. I was kind of sad but after seing many others beautiful design i took a positive thought that there's always other people doing better than us. That's a hard lesson for me to learn.
